On Thursday, May 20th, Red Cube is bringing Above & Beyond to The Whiskey Bar! I will be playing an opening set of progressive and tech from 9pm – 11pm. This is going to be an amazing event – don’t miss it!

Friday June 4th – Ransom @ Rotture

Ransom is a party being held at Rotture – 315 SE 3rd Ave in Portland. I will be playing an extended set of house / tech / tribal beats. Other DJs are Stormy and Darkcloud. This is a party for all the gay men – add to the fun and dress up – jocks / uniforms / leather / etc.

Saturday, June 19th – Gay Pride on the Waterfront

I will be hosting a stage on Saturday, June 19th on the Waterfront for Portland’s Gay Pride Festival. I will be playing some music in between bands, and then I will be playing a full DJ set later in the evening.

Thursday, June 24th – House Call @ Groove Suite

I will be playing a House music set for House Call @ Groove Suite.

Red Dress Party 2010 Recap!

The 2010 edition of the Red Dress Party has come and gone. There is so much anticipation and excitement that builds for this party every year, that after it is over, I have a hard time thinking I can wait a whole year to do it again!

This year’s party was held at the Bison Building in NE Portland and had a large room inside the warehouse where DJ Harmonix was playing music and I was outside in a large tent playing a 7 hour set of vocal house and dance music. The party started at 7pm for those with VIP tickets and included a live performance from Tahoe Jackson, great drinks and lots of yummy food. The party then officially kicked off at 9pm and the place was quickly packed.

Every year there is a lot of creativity put into people’s dresses and this year was no different. I saw a dress made of red playing cards, a dress made of red “caution” tape and a dress that was nothing more than red body paint!

I had so much fun DJ-ing again this year and can’t wait until Red Dress 2011! Below is a video clip, some pictures and links to additional reviews and pictures of the party.

The Red Dress Party is THIS SATURDAY!

You need to buy your tickets online now if you haven’t yet, they are going fast. This event always sells out online, so there will be no ticket purchases at the door. Visit Red Dress PDX now to buy your tickets and for more information about the party.

All you really need to know if you haven’t been before is you HAVE to wear a Red Dress to get into the party. The tickets are only $50 or $125 for VIP. All tickets include all your alcoholic beverages for the evening as well as food. All the money raised by this event goes to support great local charities! New DJ Tronic site

So I wanted something easier to update and navigate, so I am starting out fresh.  I have a few shows coming up – tomorrow, Saturday March 27th I am DJ-ing at The Whiskey Bar in downtown Portland.  The party is a glow themed blacklight party, so be sure to wear bright colors!

Next Thursday, April 1st, I will be DJ-ing for House Call at The Groove Suite, located at NW 4th and Glisan in downtown Portland.  On Friday, April 2nd, I’ve got my regularly scheduled show on KBOO and my guest will be Trevor Vichas.
