On Thursday, May 20th – Red Cube and The Whiskey Bar hosted Above & Beyond in Portland, OR. They played an amazing set of hard hitting trance. I opened the show with a set of techy / proggy / tribal beats from 9pm – 11pm, follow by Gabriel Driscoll who also played a great set of proggy / tribal music.
The club got packed early and stayed busy until the lights came on around 2:40am. Great party for a Thursday night! The sound system at The Whiskey Bar is really dialed in, big booming bass and very clean mid and high frequencies. The lighting is also great, and they had visuals on the tv screens and projected behind the DJs on stage.
